Geelong Galvanizing P/L provides a hot-dip-galvanizing service. The company was established in 1991 and is jointly owned by J Furphy & Sons from Shepparton and the owners of Kingfield Galvanizing P/L in Melbourne. Geelong Galvanizing is a part of the largest “Australian Owned” galvanizing group. This association provides us with additional back up expertise when needed.

The areas serviced by Geelong Galvanizing are the Western Region of Victoria and the suburbs of Melbourne,The plant is located at 360 Baccus Marsh Road, Corio, Victoria, 3214 on a ten-acre plot of land that provides ample storage space for customers’ work awaiting dispatch.

Our proximity of just one minute from the Geelong Ring Road enhances our serviceability to our valued customers.

Geelong Galvanizing strives to provide a quick turn around service and we pride ourselves on our attention to detail.

All galvanizing carried out at Geelong Galvanizing is to the Australian Standard AS/NZS 4680. A certificate of confirmation can be supplied on request.

In January 2010 we commissioned a new galvanizing kettle which is 9.5m long by 1.5m wide by 2.6m deep and by employing the double-end dipping principle, lengths of up to 17.9m can be galvanized.

Our plant and equipment is constantly being up dated to provide a safe working environment for our employees.

The company is a member of the Galvanizers Association of Australia (GAA). Geelong Galvanizing has a staff of thirty operating across the two shifts.
